Fabulous Community owned pub. Room was bright and airy, comfy bed, lovely bathroom. Bar was a typical old fashion pub, with the staff and locals very friendly. Dinner and breakfast were both wonderful. Would highly recommend staying here

Lovely room and en suite, plus sitting room exclusive for us with our own entrance. Mark and Nicky are excellent hosts, providing those extra touches to make it special. Comfortable bed for a good night’s sleep. Lovely breakfast, we had the full English! A quiet residential area yet only a few minutes walk to the town centre. we shall definitely stay here again when coming to Richmond. Found an excellent Thai restaurant for dinner.

    Exceptionally great food, would definitely recommend the steak pie. Breakfast was the best, beautifully cooked and presented. Wonderful range of local and national beers in a very cosy bar. Great parking. Staff were simply briliant. This place is a real gem of a find. Easy reach of Catterick and the site I was working at.

    Location is excellent, the place at the inn and the village overall make you feel like you're back in time, truly atmospheric. The rooms were nice and big enough and the TV screen in the room with the 4 poster bed was huge! Parking nearby made it a good choice as well and the breakfast was made to order for a change which we really appreciated after a week around the country. Staff were really nice and helpful.

    A lovely, welcoming Inn, with very friendly staff. Good car park. Our room was clean, warm and had everything you could need. Amazingly powerful shower - such a bonus in a country inn! Very comfy bed. Clean white sheets - would have preferred cotton, but fine for one night. Food was great- chose steak and scampi for dinner and both hit the spot. Full English breakfast was good and plentiful.
