During my recent stay at this guest house in Dorset, I was enveloped in warmth from the moment I arrived. The host, a delightful and engaging individual, greeted me with a genuine smile, instantly making me feel at home. With its cosy decor, the guest house offered the perfect retreat after a day of travelling.     The location was fantastic and the view was every bit as good as the website suggests. The size of the room was very good and there was ample parking. Breakfast was cooked to order and was spot on, even offering barista coffee and refills. Evening meals were good albeit a limited menu and the beers and beer garden were excellent.

    The location is stunning with breathtaking views. It’s a lovely old building but showing it’s age - in our room the windows either didn’t open or didn’t shut! However our generous accommodation (bedroom and sitting room) was warm, clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking. Breakfast, although limited in choice, was very good. Staff welcoming and cheery. Great stopover if you’re walking SW coast path.

    The staff are really friendly and helpful and the setting is wonderfully peaceful. My room was comfortable with a huge bed and a lovely hot shower. The breakfast and evening meal were both freshly cooked with a wide choice for both meals. There is plenty of space for parking and the delights of the Purbeck area are in easy reach as is the Swanage steam railway.
