The bar area is lovely in an old fashioned way. Breakfast is very good with an excellent choice of cooked food. The staff were very nice and the beds extremely comfortable . The hotel is very dog friendly and has on site free parking. They even provide treats. I’ve stayed there twice and both times found the room remarkably spacious, well appointed. Coffee machine with selection of pods. Biscuits, bottled water. Lashings of hot water. I ran a bath in two minutes. Excellent plumbing. Comfy beds with quality linen. Food was excellent with a varied menu. Not the usual predictable pub food. Presented with flair.
