Margita and her family (and the dog!) were lovely and welcoming and approachable, but respectful of our privacy. They are very generous hosts and have gone above and beyond when stocking the room with food and toiletries, and have kept the room in very good condition and cleanliness. Loved the decor style of the room, and the sounds of the nearby river and lambs at night were very sweet. It was like staying in a home away from home. If we find ourselves in this part of Wales again, we will definitely try and stay again. Thank you, Margita and family!

The Shepherds Hut was great - it was very comfortable and warm (even in December), and had everything we needed for a stay. The location is absolutely stunning - there are some beautiful local hikes, and the view of the stars at night was magical. The hosts were also really welcoming. Thank you!

A great place to relax with awesome views and surroundings and contact with the nature. Wonderful hosts took care of every detail to make you feel special there. The house and its surroundings have everything you need to enjoy your holiday. We had a really great time there and I highly recommend this place.

We spent five very enjoyable days at Y Bwthyn in November. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable and the location is stunning. We had no problem following the directions to the accommodation, which is three miles along a narrow road north of Llanbedr. Annwen, our host, was very helpful and the cake she had left for us was delicious! There are good walking trails all around, accessible directly from the cottage or within a short drive.

This was a fantastic place to stay. The overall feel of the property was just fantastic - very well presented, with every amenity you could need, and plenty of space for the whole family. The central location in the village meant it was easy to find, and we were just moments away from the local shop and pub. Oh - and the gift basket to welcome us on our arrival was a brilliant touch - we immediately felt right at home with a cuppa!

    Dog friendly, staff were lovely. Grounds for kids to play on and dogs to chill out. Free parking. The room looked lovely and came with a patio which was perfect for our dog. Food and drink onsite which we didn't try this time. Breakfast included which was lovely with a very nice selection of hot and continental.
