The local milk and fresh eggs were so delicious, cooking outside and eating in the fresh air feeds the soul too! There were fresh herbs available and a great fire pit with solid equipment to use. The hut was cosy and comfortable, it had all the essentials, lovely grounds, lots of space, and great views. The owners went out of their way to make me feel welcome, they made sure I had everything I needed before, during, and even after my stay!

We liked everything about this hotel. We paid extra for the SUPERIOR room, you get an extra sofa bed if needed. The room was of a good size, bathroom as expected, with a shower over the bath. The room was quiet and warm The TV & WiFi were great. The breakfast was EXCELLENT, English & Welsh Breakfast options. The evening restaurant was very enjoyable, but lacking in atmosphere due to its size. The breakfast room had great views across open countryside. This is a very nice hotel, and YES we would rebook as it's so good, an amazing find in such a beautiful location, easy for the ferry ports, shopping and access to the midlands etc.

    Amazing place, rural and run by the nicest of couples Lesley and Derek. Rooms were big, immaculately clean, breakfast was excellent and it even has secure parking. Brilliantly located to explore the surrounding area. The B&B even has camping facilities for large groups. A place I am looking forward to visiting again in the near future. Thank you for your excellent hosting and making us all feel at home.

    Location - it is in a secluded area with amazing views. It also only takes about 30 minutes to drive to Llyn Y Fan Fach car park for hiking. En suite bath tub - I liked the fact that it fills up easily with warm water, husband and I enjoyed this facility more than I thought, especially since we did a lot of hiking during our stay. Host was very accommodating (e.g., with our request for a bbq grill) and quick to response with our questions.

    The whole place had lovely character. The were great with big 4 poster beds. The people staff and locals were lovely. Price was very good. Overall a great first night to our holiday. Oh and lovely safe off road parking too, through an archway.

    Friendly but unobtrusive, lovely homely room with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Secure parking, non corporate, convenient. Ho.e from home.

    This accomodation was great value for money. There was no food available here, so no meals or breakfast but the price reflected this. It was very flexible with "check in" until 10pm, and sufficient free car parking. There was also tea and coffee facilitis in the room and biscuits. I am fine with this if I know in advance to bring some nreakfast with me.

    A lovely old place with a character of its own and off-street parking. Welcoming staff and locals, who we met in the bar. A good range of real ales to accompany a fine evening meal. All in all I would recommend the Red Lion.
