What a perfect little getaway! We didn't arrive until late and Robin met us with a torch. Which was much appreciated! I have to say that usually when you look at the pictures of places they are always smaller in real life. That isnt so with this place. Quite the opposite! The beams, the furniture, the pictures and books are all beautifully thought out and interesting. Everything has been thought of, it is pure comfort. We were going to have a day out on the Saturday but just stayed in until the evening. I love birds, so just sat on the very comfy sofa enjoying watching them on the feeders. Especially on the frosty sunday morning. Very relaxing. The local pub is a very short walk away. Very friendly locals including the dogs! Will definitely be back. We didnt want to leave. A lot of love has gone into the whole place and it doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you for sharing your little corner of heaven with us! And also was delightful seeing spring pushing through the ground x

The three of us were guests for two nights during our stopover on our journey home from Wales to Germany. We were warmly welcomed by John and were able to relax and rest well before continuing our journey home. John and his family were super friendly and the log cabin was cosily furnished. On the second evening we also had a cloudless sky and were able to watch the stars. The location is great: very quiet and you feel very close to nature. We will definitely be back. Free standing bath was gorgeous. Room was quirky and we liked there was no tv but a radio. Staff were all incredible especially Simon and the breakfast was epic

    It was so quiet and peaceful. The little touches that Hazel and Robin left also like bread, milk and OJ was a lovely unexpected treat. Wish we had had longer than one night. Will hopefully be back. It is the perfect location only being 15 minutes from Folkstone and about 35 minutes from Dover. There is great off road parking and the garden area is beautiful and tranquil. The hosts were super friendly and the house is bigger in person than it looks on the photos. Loved every minute!

    Everything. We have never experienced such warm welcome and great chat before like with John and Natalja. The place is magical, quiet surrounded by nature so if you travel by eurotunnel or ferry, this is truly a relax 'must' stop:) But I strongly recommend to stay there more days. Place is amazing also for kids, many animals live around. Huge garden, cabin very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. Parking and wifi also with no problem..many thanks for everything. My daughter loved every minute at your place 💜
