    Loved the character and feel of the hotel which is very grand. The lovely garden is a great space for evening drinks. Car parking space was adequate for the hotel and very secure The bedroom was comfortable and air conditioned. The location on central Lyndhurst couldn't be better for exploring the town. There is a lift to the upper floors. Food in the restaurant/grill was excellent Good range of beers, wines and cocktails. Staff very friendly and obliging.

    Staff were friendly especially at breakfast. The location of the hotel was central - lots of places nearby to eat and drink and a quaint high street with lots of lovely shops. We chose not to bring our dog on this occasion but lovely to see it was a dog friendly hotel with water for the dog and treats (sausages) on offer. The facilities were basic but very clean and free parking was convenient. The booking service at breakfast meant it was organised and well serviced.

    Great location. Our daughter loved saying hello to the horses and the donkey each morning. Really spacious, everything you need for a great stay. Felt really safe for the 2 young children, loads of car parking, just brilliant

    Handy location only a short walk from the town centre. Free parking to rear of property. Freshly prepared cooked breakfast was good. Room was clean and tidy and we found the bed comfortable. Tea and coffee in room. Large pub very close to Hotel and plenty of eateries in the town, but during the holidays it's worth booking a table.

    Our room was spacious and with no noise from road traffic. The food came in large portions and staying for 4 nights it was quite a challenge! Car parking was excellent with plenty of room. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

    A lovely hotel set right in the middle of The New Forest.The hotel is situated right in middle of the High Street of Lyndhurst only a few yards from the pubs and restaurants.The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food at this hotel was very nice with a lovely full English breakfast every morning. The Wi-Fi was excellent and free parking in a secluded car park at the rear. Would I recommend this hotel? Yes definitely, would I stay there again, yes definitely.
