    Excellent location Good size property Clean No issues with on street parking (always found a space) Really easy check in/out process Well stocked (e.g. toiletries in the bathroom, food condiments in the kitchen, towels, ironing board, hairdryer, spare bedding etc in the bedrooms). A home away from home…. will definitely use again when returning to the area.

    Lovely comfortable room with excellent shower. Free parking. Lovely fresh breakfast after 1 night stay. Bus stop outside property meant could get into city centre in approx 30 mins.

    Rooms were clean and breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Car parking excellent. Buses stopped outside hotel and very regular service. Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Edinburgh, convenient and easy to stay instead of staying in the city itself.

    The room was well equipped with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was more than ample with a good choice of food. Restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful with tips for the area and beyond. Despite being on a main road, the room was relatively quiet. Free parking directly alongside the hotel. Good rail link from Musselburgh to Edinburgh.

    Location, very handy with good bus services right outside the door, The place was very clean, and the staff helpful.Lovely room with a nice shower, comfy bed, and very roomy. The breakfast has a large number of choices and a bit overcooked for me was fantastic. Free car parking also a bonus. A great local pub down the road near the theatre,(1bus stop) called Staggs,(the Volunteer Arms), real ale and friendly locals. Also near the pub a Gurkah restaurant which is highly recommended

    A hidden pearl in Musselburgh! This well-run small hotel is exceptional value for money. The guest is met with a kindly Scots welcome , a clean comfortable room, free parking (at a premium in the vicinity of Edinburgh) topped off by a first class full Scots breakfast with square sausage and haggis! Also well placed for striking into Edinburgh and exploring the coastline. Thank you Ravelston for first class treatment!
