    The property was ideally located being just outside the town centre and the free parking was a bonus. The room was comfortable and quiet although a little dated. The bus interchange was about 10mins walk away and the island has a very good bus service centred on Newport). The cooked breakfast was good. Friendly and helpful host.

    Quiet location (even though it is opposite a pay and display car park), within easy walking distance of Newport centre. Private parking at the back. Not many guest rooms, so we felt we received a personalised service from the friendly owners. Very comfy large bed. Clean. Over bath shower had a good pressure and temperature and was very effective, although temperature setting was a bit fiddly to start with as there was no thermostatic valve. Kettle with a range of teas and coffee in the room. Pedestal fan kept us cool on the hot nights.

    Check-in was easy. The room was huge (family room) and beds very comfy. Great location. Great price. Good breakfast selection and friendly staff. Plenty of parking nearby and a loading bay directly outside which made check-in and checkout easy.
