Boringdon Hall is as magical as they described it. This is truly one of the best hotels in the south west. The spa access was really beneficial. The staff are all helpful and kind. As a solo traveller it’s very important that there are little interactions that make you feel secure and welcome without intruding. Every employee is on the same page with their customer care from the gardeners to the front desk.

We got so lucky as we found this place as it had just been put on here! The host was a really nice guy with 2 friendly little doggies that greeted us just as warmly haha, the cottage was so beautiful, from the view of it from the outside night and day to the view FROM it out onto the harbour, such a great location, the inside had EVERYTHING you could possibly need and more that you wouldn’t even think of, the storage and the arrangement of everything is so well thought out, there’s so much storage tucked away so it’s somehow really spacious yet small and cosy at the same time, there was Now TV which came in handy and there’s also a cooker and Fridge and kettle, the bed was comfy and the shower was great, props to the hosts because they really did think of everything they should be incredibly proud of what they’ve created, cannot praise this place enough and would 100% recommend to anyone other than maybe wheelchair users as the stairs are pretty steep but that’s being critical, thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your wonderful cottage! (Side note I’m not from Georgia I must not have changed it to UK haha)

A very cozy hotel in a picturesque little town. The hotel was in a very new and freshly renovated condition. The room was very clean and the box spring bed was very comfortable. The owners put a lot of thought into the room equipment, we had almost everything you could ask for: Bathrobes, shampoo, shower gel and hand cream, fresh milk in the fridge as well as a selection of different teas and coffee, cereals, dishes and cutlery, smart TV with internet. There was a very amazing breakfast which was brought directly to our room. Highly recommended!

The staff were absolutely brilliant. They welcomed us last minute after a previous booking of another property fell through due to poor management. They provided every facility to check in late at night and free, safe parking space. The owners of the restaurant below the apartment received us with a big smile and treated us to some prawn crackers. That's how you run a business! Big contrast with respect to the previous property, which denied us check-in because we were slightly late after many hours of driving, unless we paid an absurd extra 50 quid. The decor was a bit tacky, but in an endearing, fun sort of way. Certainly not an issue. The apartment has several stairwells, though. That's something to keep in mind if you have reduced mobility. It wasn't a problem for my elderly mother in law, anyway.

    Great location. Car parking nearby and not excessively priced. Room was clean and comfortable . Buffet breakfast had a great selection and was regularly refreshed. We used the bar which was not overpriced. Overall was good value for the money paid after our discount.

    Apartment was perfect for our 3-day visit whilst finding accommodation for my son's relocation to Plymouth. Car parking in Plymouth can be tricky and it was great that this property has off-street parking. Location is great for walking to the Hoe (just moments away), harbour and town centre.

    The room was very good, better than we were expecting for the price we paid (were we upgraded?). Quiet, well equipped, very clean, even several freebies (which is very unusual nowadays). Breakfast buffet was excellent. Friendly and attentive staff. Well equipped gym. Cosy bar, which also serves food. Free parking (being February) in the hotel's secure secure car park.

    the staff were friendly & accomodating, were kind enough for me to leave the car in their car park for a few hours after we had checked out, ther breakfast buffet was exellent, i had a full english with coffee, exellent value if you get it included in the room price as with the free parking.
