A minute or so drive from the centre of Rothesay so everything handy but quiet location. Room was lovely overlooking the bay., everything was spotless and bathroom great. Very nice breakfast and a separate guest lounge, both with wonderful views. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely old building. Showing its age in some areas but it's a beautiful hotel. My room was so comfortable and well appointed with a garden view. I tried various menu items and all were delicious. The staff are exceptional, friendly welcoming and efficient. I somehow ended up with another guests food and drink on my room tab but it was sorted out with no drama at all. Overall a wonderful stay

    1 Marine Place is superbly located less than a mile from the ferry port and town at Rothesay. We stayed in the ground floor Scalpsie Bay apartment which was large, comfortable, well furnished, attractively decorated and had great sea views from both bedroom and dining / living room. The bed was very good. The separate bathroom had a modern shower. Parking was easy and convenient.

    It was just so nice to get a very clean apartment, that was both comfortable and nicely decorated. The view from the widows were excellent over the bay. Price was affordable. Easy parking at door.
