    The view at the sea from the room. The architecture of the building. Size of the room. Free parking in a big parking lot. Huge green area between the beach and the hotel for walking the dog. Good food nearby even if many restaurants are closed due to Covid probably.

    Wonderful hotel, in a fantastic location, only a short walk to the station, ferry port and some wonderful bars and restaurants. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel was charming and made us feel like we were on a proper holiday. The free parking was a godsend and the open air car park behind was very reasonably price for 24 hours. Breakfast was very tasty. There is a night porter so there is no issue with coming and going as you please.

    Returned late evening on the ferry from Spain so the 24 hour reception and check in was very good. The room was quiet, warm (February) and clean and was just what we needed for a good sleep before driving home the following morning. Breakfast in the adjoining restaurant was great and good value ( but don't bother booking the £9 breakfast as its the same price if you pay after eating, and there are cheaper menu options if required.) Free parking in the hotel car park was useful.

    Location was superb, within the shopping centre and right by the harbour. Free parking is provided in the Gunwharf car park which is very convenient. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was not luxurious but perfectly adequate and more than met expectations for an overnight stay in a budget hotel. Would happily use the hotel again.

    35B is a beautiful apartment in Southsea and was perfect for our needs. Handy, comfortable, quiet and the owner provided car parking tickets for excellent on-street parking for every day of our stay, mostly right outside the door. There is everything that we needed for our stay in the apartment and then some - washing machine and top of the range smart TV in the sitting room. This apartment is in lovely part of Southsea and was very quiet in the evening.

    The hotel is close to the main attractions at Portsmouth, with easy access to restaurants, shops and the Museum. It was comfortable. It was a good place to stay for one night though some of the other residents were noisy coming in late. It was comfortable without being luxurious. The shopping centre nearby has a good car park with free parking (for motel guests) for 24 hours.

    Amazing location on the doorstep of the shopping and restaurants at Gunwharf Quays and the free parking in the main car park was an added bonus, bedroom was conformable and nice hot showers. Friendly and helpful staff.
