    This hotel is over 150 years old and although the room we had was a little dated it had everything we needed. It was roomy and had a hair dryer, comfy beds, tea/coffee, kettle. A good, cooked breakfast was included. We could walk everywhere in this charming town with it's 17th century harbour. Parking was not an issue. We booked a table for dinner and had the most delicious meal. Worth the stop over.

    Room was a generous size and comfy enough. Decor dated but tidy. Everything worked. Food was excellent - breakfast and dinner. Bar was friendly and welcoming. Parking easy enough on street.

    It was in a great location for us to stop for the night. We were just able to get dinner in before closing. Parking was nice right in front of the hotel with a lovely view of the church across the street. Breakfast was yummy and staff very kind and helpful.

    We enjoyed our stay in Portsoy. The hotel is in the middle of town. Perfect for exploring. Food was good, staff were really helpful. Plenty on street free parking by the hotel.

    Surprisingly good - exceeds initial impressions. We've never been to Portsoy before so didn't know what to expect. Hotel was good - friendly & helpful staff, clean large room, good shower. Parking on road, but with a free car park nearby. Evening meal in restaurant was very good & not overpriced. Good bar, good prices & friendly staff & locals. You HAVE to visit the harbour - & the small pub (The Shore Inn) there !!
