Set in a stunning location with an interesting history, this hotel is a real gem. Wonderful owner and colleagues who were so welcoming and friendly, without being over the top. It was one of the most amazing experiences we had during our stay in Scotland. Owner was friendly, helpful and invited us for the dinner for free. Also we had to leave soon in the morning so we got sandwiches ready in the fridges which we just picked up before we left. We were so lucky that we met a guide who was staying over the night in the hotel and he was so kind that he put on traditional clothes and brought his claymore. We spend several hours together talking about Scotland, traditions, drinking and eating. Also, we got plenty of recommendations what to see during our trip. Even we spend just one night there, I will never forget it. Thanks :)

The location was like a fairytale. I loved the chickens walking around the house and the atmosphere of the building. The building is very old but very well taken care of. Everything is so clean and very nice decorated. The bed was very good, the shower was good as well and the kitchen was fully equipped. They welcomed us with a tray with tea, cookies, and self-made cake, which was amazing! This is a great location to see the beauty of Scotland. I'm not done exploring and would come back here for sure!
