A quite location, with exceptionally beautiful surroundings. The Smiths are a very welcoming family and we were made to feel right at home. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, the bed was extremely comfortable and the sheep on the hills gave it that extra Scottish touch.

We loved our stay at Anchor Hotel! Our room had a beautiful view over the habour. It was very clean, comfortable and the staff were very friendly. We could walk to dinner- a great place called Lullabelle’s on the foreshore. Short drive to Kennacraig ferry. Great breakfast too. Highly recommend!

    Location was great for catching the Islay ferry in the morning. Hugh was super welcoming and a great host. Room was very comfortable and well-furnished, would have been great to stay longer. Free parking around the surrounding streets.
