The room was immaculate. It is small so would be cosy for a couple but certainly perfect as a solo traveller. I couldn’t fault Jess and Steve who offered a really warm welcome and were happy to help with any queries throughout my stay. The local pub, The Royal Oak, is only a 5 minute walk away and a great place for drinks or food as you need.

I was made to feel so welcome and very special. There is a lot of connectivity around the host and her staff and I felt emotionally embraced into the wonderful lifestyle that is Tarastone. nothing was too much trouble for the host and her staff to accommodate me. I was completely relaxed and felt very at home. There was also plenty of advice on travelling, sightseeing, and they even managed to secure a table at the fabulous local restaurant on a Friday evening, last minute.

    It is in the middle of the countryside, very quiet and green. Exactly as the pictures, the host, Tanya, the kindest I have ever encountered. They have a master bedroom with a big bed and a second bedroom with two single beds. One bathroom with a shower and a second one with a bathtub. It is self catered but they offer the fresh ingredients for you to prepare your own breakfast (eggs, milk, butter, jam etc). They have parking space for free. Money well spent in every way. Thank you for making our stay the best possible

    We stayed at Withyslade Farm for 3 nights when attending a wedding in nearby Tisbury. The cottage is clean and comfortable, and there’s lots of space downstairs so even though there were four of us and a young baby, we never felt cramped. The surrounding area is beautiful and we loved how quiet and peaceful it was! Parking is very close to the cottage and the owner, Helen, was very helpful, even agreeing to amend the dates of our stay at short notice
