The location was beautiful and peaceful. Loved the manor and all of the staff were especially attentive ,helpful and polite. The Spa was wonderful and we had heavenly spa treatments from Natalie and Rosie who were so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious too.

We had a perfect stay from check in. We were welcomed by Nicky and shown to our lovely accommodation. The rooms in the lodge building were spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was modern with a very powerful shower. Our evening meals and breakfast cooked by John were exceptional. The hotel is in a quiet location with countryside views and has plenty of free onsite parking.

The house was very well stocked , very roomy , heating great and all facilities good including the beautiful heated pool which we used a lot . Excellent place for children with playgrounds, pool etc . Lovely pub around the corner with excellent food . You’ll need a car but the roads are easy once you find the main roads

The surroundings were wonderful. The wildlife was entertaining and the antics of the squirrels and birds were a joy to watch. The accommodation was clean and bright and the bed very comfortable. The milk, bread and eggs were a thoughtful gift.

Absolutely beautiful holiday home to stay in. We loved it & didn’t want to leave! Everything is so new and done so beautifully it was all much appreciated. All the little things make the difference. We loved the telescope. Views are amazing. Bed was very comfortable Thankyou for the delicious fresh scones, lovely jam & cream and the fresh milk & drinks!

Our host Devon was amazing she was so helpfull, and friendly , explained everything we needed to know, helped us take pics gave so much information about the local area ( fab for me as I’m from London) was brill with messaging , wizards rest is a true gem, private secluded and truly magical, clean, with everything you need for a special treat time away from everything can’t wait to go back in summer 💜

    The location is beautiful with amazing views. However if you’re staying in the Manor House there is nowhere to sit outside and enjoy the view. There is a tiny walled courtyard next to the car park

    We went for a last minute get away before our baby arrives, the room was very cosy. Swimming is included in your stay which is great and there’s free parking. The games room was a nice extra too; with pool tables and air hockey. There’s plenty for families to do too, we will definitely be back!
