The cottage was spotless and beautifully decorated. The location was gorgeous and close enough to Usk centre. The host was so kind and helpful, it was lovely to chat and they even left an amazing welcome hamper. Beds were really comfy too! The hot tub (heated for our arrival!) and outdoor area were an amazing extra also. We would 100% stay here again, it was a haven!

Small but very comfortable cottage. Clean. The owners thougt of everything f.e. rubber utensils for non sticking pans, wich were therefore in a good condition. Hard to find in most cottages is our experience. Everything you need ( not more) is there and well thought of. Great bed with crispy white bedlinnen! But the most important feature of this cottage is de amazing view. We were lucky to have great weather so saw astonishing sunsets. For us it was the best cottage ever: complete tranquility, solitude and views to die for.

the atmosphere was like a film. dazzling and warm. it was so what I expected. we had dinner at the restaurant. food was so good and staffs are so friendly. I thought breakfast is like one toast and cup of tea and English sausage… but they were so welcoming to order anything more than one on the menu.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped and a lovely selection for a continental breakfast. Restaurant offered great food and it was a lovely place to stay. We would have stayed longer but it was booked up.

    Plenty of free parking available which was good. The gym and spa facilities were great! The room was fairly spacious and bed was clean. Hot breakfast buffet was decent. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Overall, good value. I would recommend for short stays.

    free parking, room was very spacious, lovely countryside setting, buffet breakfast was excellent, room 30, the bath was massive, fully lay down in it. swimming pool and spa area was nice and serene. Gym was well stocked and not busy at all.

    Affordable, free parking, breakfast was nice. Pool is really lovely, sauna hot and steam room good too. Staff are lovely and friendly and the hotel was clean enough. My room was great and dry. Beautiful scenery, it's quite out in the sticks.

    we booked this as a one night stopover between Brecon Beacons and Bath. very pleased. old time pub with rooms ( old fashioned but comfortable). no dedicated parking but easy to find free parking nearby. nice area out the front and a garden out the back to have a drink if weather good. had our dinner here in the evening and food good. well happy overall.
