    As we live in North Yorkshire, it is an ideal location for visiting our family and friends who live in Wakefield and surrounding areas. The rooms are comfortable and there is always parking nearby with no charge. I often stay alone and always feel safe here. Sometimes when staying I dine alone and never feel uncomfortable when doing so.

    It was a nice building in a nice location and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good quality and portion size was good also which set you up for the day. Plenty of parking spread around the site but watch out for the top car park if steps are an issue. Rooms are a reasonable size and the cleaning staff did a good job. Good selection of beer, food on the whole was good.
