A great spot in Axminster. This Bed and Breakfast is a true gem. The whole place is beautifully decorated throughout, has a comfortable bed, well appointed bathroom , excellent breakfast. Watermead Guest House is an absolute gem of an accommodation. Trudy and David made us feel very welcome, chatted with everybody over home cooked breakfast and even gave us great tips where to find ammonites. The room was very cosy, clean and the view was lovely. We stayed for two nights but would prefer to stay much longer. I can definitely wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation. Thank you, Trudy and David, for having us and pet Chester for us! :)

Presented to a very high standard, quiet and peaceful location. Excellent hosts who were kind and helpful, genuinely nice people. Homemade raspberry jam! Private spot looking out on an established garden setting. We found this a great spot to use as a base incorporating many beautiful nearby villages, lots of walks, quality pubs that do great meals and also within about 25 minutes of the sea. All up we really loved this place and will be definitely coming back.
