It was only 15 minutes away. It was clean and tidy. There was everything in the room we needed. The pub and restaurant was next door. It had free parking. Despite being near busy Watling St the rooms are quiet. Ours had a good view over a stream and open countryside. Rooms warm clean & comfortable - if a little dated. Restaurant was very good, village offers alternative dining - Brinjol Indian recommended. Excellent breakfast. Free reliable Wi-Fi, large tv with good reception. The room was a good size with comfortable bed, bathroom facilities were good and more importantly for us the room was lovely and warm. Breakfast served in the pub next door was great value for money.
