We enjoyed everything : the kindness of our hosts, the location, the residence is awesome! We stayed in a wonderful suite, made with good taste (beautiful wood furniture for example) and the terrace was very pleasant. We had all the attention and some good advice for the local restaurants and feasts (panigiri) from our hosts. We, as a family of 5 with 3 young kids, highly recommend this accommodation. All the best for Erifi !

Lovely view and the house is far enough from the village to be quiet but only 5 minutes walk, which was really convenient. The last part of the road is a dirt road, but you can always leave the car and continue on foot for a couple of minutes. The host was very helpful and welcoming and we would love to stay there again in our next visit.

We are currently staying in Karavostamo but fancied a change of scenery. I had holidayed in Greece for 21 of the 26 years together, but recently my partner died and I have found it difficult to settle this year. The Mesaktis Rooms were exactly what I needed. A beautiful tranquil setting, our terrace looked down on to a small lagoon. The owners gave me and my friend homemade lemonade and the most delicious homegrown figs, which we consumed whilst overlooking the lagoon, which was home to over 30 turtles! We were given bread with which to feed them. What a sight to feast your eyes on while we drank our delicious lemonade! The accommodation is rustic, it’s not luxurious, but it’s what we both loved about this place. There are tavernas beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to make a simple meal. There are tavernas maybe 5 minutes walk away, a mini market next door, and over the road there is probably the best beach on Ikaria - Mesaktis beach. At the far end is a lagoon in which you can see even more turtles! The hosts, as you may have picked up on, were so generous and warm. I miss the place, the kittens and Sadi the dog already. This has been the standout experience so far of this 3 week Greek island hopping trip. I absolutely loved it, and it helped me along in my grief journey. To the owners: thank you for your hospitality, for letting me leave the car on your premises after we had checked out, and sorry for taking the room key!

Stella and Stefanos are the best hosts ever. They are very friendly and very thoughtful. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. Our suite was very well-equipped; it had everything guests might possibly need during their stay. And everything was sparkling clean. We had a great stay!

Super nice host, the appartment was just perfect and squeakily clean. In a quiet location, perfect to relax and with an amazing view from the panoramic swimming pool. No problems finding parking, walking distance from Nanouras beach and just a 5 minutes drive from nice Taverns in Nas Village. Hope to come back one day 🙂

    Beautiful, clean accommodations in a wonderful and convenient location. Incredibly generous and kind hosts that answered all my questions and helped me plan my visit. I loved loved loved Ikaria and this spot. The roads can get quite crowded and having parking is a HUGE bonus. I will be back! Everything was wonderful

    On driving to the car park we noticed the " garden view" rooms overlooking the approach. This is what we had booked but to our delight we had been upgraded to a studio by the pool. It was nicely furnished , cool , excellent a/c , very quiet at night with a glorious view out to sea. We both thought this was the best part of our holiday

    Staff we encountered were all very pleasant and accommodating - Marina in reception was very helpful and friendly. Our room was not large but adequate we had a small balcony to sit in the evening. Buffet style breakfast was included in the price and there was a really good selection to choose from. We were able to park the car on the premises and walk into town or the beach

    The owner was super nice and got the room as quick as she could knowing we would check in earlier. There is private parking and a view to die for! Also, the room is cleaned every day. Location is perfect to visit the beaches and also the mountain villages. 5 mins walk to Armenistis (many food options there!) in case one doesn't want to drive. 10 out of 10!!

    One of the best accommodations I have ever had: - Very clean, spacious and comfortable studio including a balcony with a breathtaking view of the Aegean Sea. - Ilias and Jenny are extremely kind, welcoming and attentive hosts, who helped us with all our needs - Accomodation includes free parking, it is in a 5 Min. walking distance to the center of Armenistis and is very quiet at night I strongly recommend staying here when staying in Armenistis. A truly great experience!
