The house had everything we needed. Attention to details was given. There were extra bed linen, towels , pillows etc. Quite and relaxing environment, beautiful view. Very good communication with our host. All in all a memorable stay.

There is so much I can tell about our stay at Des Roses Hotel I don’t even know where to begin. It’s an absolute hidden gem. Located right by the harbour, close to beautiful beaches ( I especially recommend taking a longer walk to the further beach which is about 15 min walk away but through a beautiful view), 2 small supermarkets on your doorstep, small typical Greek tavernas all around. Hotel itself is really well kept, rooms cleaned on a daily basis, towels changed every second day. Couldn’t fault anything. Breakfast is everything you need. Don’t expect a menu or anything but everything is fresh and really tasty! However above everything the hearth of this place is the family that runs it! Wonderful people! So helpful and kind md and will always go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable! Thank you Niko and Family for a wonderful holiday! You are doing a fantastic job and well done for bringing the place back to life after the massive flood you had last year!

The guesthouse is recently renovated, with great taste both inside and outside, materials used seem to be of very high quality. Bathroom is very spacious, beds are comfy (although they are more on the sturdy side, but this is something we like). They cleaned our room every 2 days, during our stay towels were changed twice, and sheets once. The room had a balcony with a lovely sea view, and especially enjoyable summer breeze in the evening. There is a tavern next to the guesthouse where we enjoyed delicious greek food, the tavern is open from 8am to 10pm. The prices are moderate for 2024 (souvlaki 8 euros, moussaka as well, fish and other sea food ranges from 10 to 16 euros). Since it's situated right across Skiathos, there is a water taxi that goes from Katigiorgis harbor which is 15mins away by car. The price for water taxi is 20 euros per person per way, and usually it goes twice within every hour. Overall we had a really pleasant stay and we will definitely return sooner rather than later.

We loved this place. We had a sea view and saw dolphins swimming this morning. It's a good size room, good shower and really personally decorated. We love the cats and dogs pottering about.

    The central position of rhe apartment was perfect for us, right on the sea front in the heart of the village, parking was not a problem for us as we parked directly outside on the road. The shop next door is amazing selling absolutely anything and everything and the owners are lovely people. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The cooker hob was adequate for us, a shame there was no oven.
