Everything as expected. We had a great time. This accomodation provides good services and is for sure one of the best in Raja Ampat. A big plus for the wifi - which is not comon in Raja Ampat.

- Very various food, which was always good and a lot - huge terrace with a sun lounger and makramee hammock - great shower with water from the top (not only bucket) - very friendly good English speaking Rio (who was always there to communicate with the guests and have some chats) - cheap transfer boats - lots of trips available to different spots - we went snorkeling with Rio and the local along the wall - turtles, sharks and other cool fish to spot while snorkeling - use MapsMe (App) to find the hidden jungle tracks that lead you too the sunset viewpoints and cool snorkeling spots MAKE SURE YOU JUMP IN THE WATER AT NIGHT FROM THE JETTY BECAUSE THERE IS FLUORESCENCE PLANKTON IN THE OCEAN WHICH WAS ABSOLUTELY MAGICAL!!!

Beautiful location. Everybody is so kind and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay here. The view is breathtaking 😍 I stayed for a week and was sad when I had to leave. I enjoyed the dives with divemaster Abang. The food was delicious. Bucket showers and back to basics, I really loved the entire experience so much! Thank you Herman, Nani, Abang and the rest of the staff for such an amazing stay on Kri Iskand! 🙏🥰

Simply the best homestay we visited in Raja Ampat, it has an extra touch overs the other homestays: walking paths are well kept, every room has it's water outside, the restaurant deck on the water is wonderful, rooms are new with a mesmerizing view. House reef is one of the best we have seen in RA (just pay attention to the currents!). Moreover Mario is an excellent host and helps create a great atmoshpere, he has several boats and offers the chepeast tours around.

We enjoyed our stay at Amfriwen. The bungalow was clean, had a fan, a mosquito net and a little shelf space. The veranda and the view were amazing. The bathroom was outside and for us one of the better facilities during our stay in Raja ampat. The food was very simple but always enough. We enjoyed our stay and say thank you to the lovely family.

We had a great time at Bruno raja ampat. We were warmly welcomed by Farrah and her family. Farrah prepared us very good food, with typical specialities. The home stay is just in front of the jetee of sauwandarek, on the beach. It’s great for snorkeling. There is a wide variety of fishes, corals and many sea turtles. We are in a small village quiet and very welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and we recommend this address.

Closeness to nature, which is still unspoiled. Lots of birds, fishes and ofcourse the marine life that is easy accessible from PapuArts Alter Native Stay. Family feeling; easily to feel at home with this lovely family of four (Helga, Timon and their 2 beautiful young daughters who love to make friends). Oh, and I forgot their two sweet dogs Ringo & Dingo 🐾🐾 Owners are very helpful and speak several languages so easy to communicate with them. Internet is sometimes a bit unstable so take that into account when expecting speedy replies (sometimes it just doesn’t work and patience is a good thing to have). The food - home style cooking (breakfast, lunch and dinner are all cooked by the owner and her team and she is a great cook; we loved every meal which was perfectly catered to our vegetarian / pescatarian wishes) The rooms are close to nature as well, with very comfy beds (we stayed in both the smaller and the biggest family room, which easily fits 3 respectively 4 people; the 3rd bed in the smaller room has a wonderful treehouse feeling and there is a bunkbed in the biggest room). Hard to capture the beauty of the rooms in just one picture (I took several but could only post one here with my review). You can hear the sea and birds from your bedroom. It’s right next to you. No frills, just natural materials, which we loved. Also no warm water, but easily to get used to. There’s a shower and mandi style shower. Also your own toilet. Plus the blue blue sea right at your doorstep and a lovely sitting area with a hammock to complete the zen-feeling. There’s a long jetty into the sea with a perfect spot for exercise/meditation/yoga at the end. Fitness with a view! It’s quiet and feels very private. You instantly feel relaxed here. Different excursions to choose from, both on land and on/under the sea. Please note: these come at an extra cost and Raja Ampat area is not cheap!!!! Vogelkopf is a young resort nestled within a mangrove forest, with a jetty that extends out to a diverse and well kept house reef, at which we saw a dugong, trumpet fish, banner fish, clown fish, giant clams, and were also told you could see dolphins and turtles at the right time. The sunsets were outstanding and you could hear the songs of Imams echoing across the water (although the resort itself was protected from this noise). Our room was spacious and had great air conditioning. In particular, the bed was extremely comfortable. Vogelkopf is well furnished, and exactly like the pictures. We felt very comfortable and welcome, and ended up staying twice. The owners were very welcoming and helped organise us with a scooter, tour company and scuba dive group. Brezel was a great host and kindly helped us with phone difficulties, providing us with an SD card and aiding with international transfers. Corwyn and Pricilia also drove us into town to explore the local market and fresh produce and also kindly dropped us at the ferry at the end of our stay. Also, Frengklin is a fantastic chef and we always looked forward to our meals, which were included in the cost. This is was the best food we had in Raja Ampat. Special mention to staff Raka and Hadya, who had excellent spoken English and made us feel welcome.
