Hillside Bali is truly a hidden gem. If you are tired of busy south coast head to the North and experience some real Bali. Mario and his wife were one of the modest and kind people we met on our travels and I really wish everyone to experience their endless hospitality. The two villas are brand new and offering everything you need. Bed and linen are 5* hotel quality and everything is crystal clear. We felt really welcomed and honestly happy we could support some local owners. Mario can organize a guide to Mt. Batur, motorbike rental or cheaper tickets to the hot springs.

We stayed here for one night before our Mt. Batur jeep tour, and it was a fantastic choice. Highlights: • 🌄 Location: Only 5 minutes from Mt. Batur, perfect for tours. • 🏞️ Views: Truly stunning, unobstructed panorama of both Mt. Batur and Lake Batur. • 💰 Value: Very reasonably priced, excellent for what you get. • 🤝 Host: Warm, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about hospitality. He greeted us personally and was always happy to help—his positive energy made the stay memorable. Overall: Highly recommend staying here for one or two nights if you’re exploring Mt. Batur and its lake. A hidden gem that combines unbeatable views with heartfelt hospitality.

Staying at this villa was a truly wonderful and relaxing experience. This place is perfect for a family holiday or a getaway with your partner. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious and very affordable. We also really enjoyed the unique and fun experience of getting around using the buggies. The warm pool water was perfect for a morning swim, especially with the fresh, cool air. We highly recommend this place!

If you are looking for an affordable little paradise, you have it at the moon cabins 😇 The place is new and amazing. You have so much space in your little private house, it looks great and cosy, and the view is breathtaking. Budu and his wife and his brother were the most attentive and generous guests. We had a wonderful stay at this homestay. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our entire visit. He truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We booked activities directly with him, including the sunrise hike to Mount Batur and the visit to the hot springs – both were absolutely fantastic and very well organized. On top of that, he helped us get a taxi when we were having trouble finding one, and he was always available to assist us with anything we needed. We really appreciated his warm hospitality and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming and reliable host. Thank you for everything! Don’t worry if you see only a few reviews – this is a new accommodation, but it’s 100% worth it. You’ll be in great hands here!

    Perfect place to stay! Great food on-site with lots to do like pool tables, a mini golf putter, and we watched surf videos on their TVs. The cabins are perfect. Just the right size with very comfortable beds and nice attached bathrooms with a door separating them. Plenty of motorbike parking in front of your unit and a great location in Kedisan. Awesome place, love Yucabin!
