Two lovely adjacent bungalows in front of the beach in the village with a shared porch with a dining table and relax chairs. The host Mamalis made amazing varied food, some of the best we’ve had in Indonesia. Papa Sem has a boat for snorkeling and dolphin tours. The atmosphere is calm, close to the pier and two diving schools. Communication in English is done through Stefen, who runs a nearby homestay. He is very friendly, like Mamalis and Papasem, whom you can talk to in Indonesian and through translation apps.

And they cooked THREE meals each day even though the listing only mentions breakfast, no extra cost..

Naca is a warm and welcoming host, and a great cook. We are all meals here and we loved it. She also has connections to other locals and knowledge about the surroundings so that can help you make the most of your stay. The location is perfect in the centre of the village. The room is simple and has everything you need. Keep in mind that there is no hot water (most places on the island lack this) and a fan for airconditioning.

Super clean, good smell. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I got a sunburn and without asking they just gave me some aloe vera. Rhe dolphin tour is also amazing !!!! Highly recommended

The resort is located in a beautiful area full of trees and flowers. The bungalows are a natural part of the environment, with glass windows and doors. It is like living in and with nature. The staff is very friendly and supportive, the owner is a great inspirator, not only about diving and holiday making, also about social work in the village. It has everything one could wish for: very welcoming, friendly, gracious and helpful staff; a lobby and restaurant that is bright, spacious and spotlessly clean; an excellent buffet breakfast with a large variety of choices; a modern, well-equipped fitness centre; a well-furnished room with very comfy beds. We stayed two nights and would have loved to have stayed two more.

    I like the fact that the hotel is fairly close to Megamas area. You would still need a car, or just walk like what I did, to Megamas. It's positioned close to the beach, so there's something to see–although not much. I also like that they have an ample parking space.
