We had a wonderful stay at Mama’s, the place is still partly under renovation but the room, the bathrooms and the common area are already so comfortable and lovely, very clean and well decorated. Breakfast is also delicious! Many many thanks to Faldi and Nina for their hospitality and their kindness. We had a one day tour around Ruteng with Faldi and got to see beautiful landscapes! We also got the chance to learn more about Maggarai culture and meet with Faldi’s family.

What an amazing stay at Peter’s Homestay. We’ve stayed 3 nights there. We felt directly home and confortable. Everything is made so that you spend a wonderful stay. Tersedia, Flavi and Andrea are a lovely family! We felt right at home, they invited us to take part of their daily life. We talked a lot and about very interesting subjects, we laughed, we ate together, we played card games with Andrea... We loved it so much that we decided to stay one more night and we would have stayed even more if we had the time! They host a school for children and teach after-school math & english, and they are very happy to let you take part to it. Thank you so much!

This is thé Flores home experience! Very friendly, inviting and welcoming family. Irwan helps out planning your stay and can arrange everything for you. Ernesta is a great cook and dancer, and their 2 kids are a joy! We visited the “hobbit cave”, the Ramenese lake and did the flyingfox zipline and the traditional market at Ruteng. And to top it all off we where invited to a local wedding party 🥳!! How special is that! We loved staying with this beautiful family.

    Beautiful family who speak English really well, they’re super welcoming and helpful. Good kitchen facilities, comfortable beds, hot showers and a yummy breakfast included. Off street parking for motorbike too which is nice. Stayed twice as we loved it there so much, would recommend to anyone!

    Everything was awesome. The homestay was easily accessible by motorbike and parking space was available. The view was great and the room and bathroom were clean (hot water was just made available!). But the best thing about the homestay was the atmosphere. Jeff was very kind and helpful and just made everyone visiting there feel like family for a bit. I stayed longer than planned but was still sad to leave.
