Our stay at Bamboo Hidden Village was an unforgettable, wonderful experience, where we became one with nature and got a glimpse of the real life of the locals in the village. We spent three nights there and felt very honored to be among the first guests at this accommodation. We especially took our host Agung and his sister into our hearts—they are so hospitable and helpful, take care of you, and are always available via WhatsApp. Any questions we had were answered immediately, and we were also able to rent a scooter from him very easily—it was at our door within two minutes. Breakfast was brought directly to the villa – on request, an extra vegetarian breakfast with Balinese specialties was even prepared for us – super delicious! Since it is a bamboo house in the jungle, you should be prepared for some cute geckos to be near the villa at night, which may entertain you with their noises, and small cute frogs sometimes croak at night. If you are sensitive to noise, we definitely recommend earplugs! It is important to know that these are the only animals that may make themselves comfortable far away from you in a corner of the bamboo house – there are no wild animals such as snakes or the like, so you can enjoy a real jungle experience without any risk. We have also learned that geckos are considered lucky charms and guardians of the house in Bali. Furthermore, the bamboo house property is fenced in anyway. The villa also has a breathtaking outdoor bathroom, which adds even more charm to the nature and freedom experience – but the hammock in the front area tops everything anyway! We were looking for a one-night stay in the jungle and came across this place. At first, we were hesitant because there were no reviews — but it turns out that’s simply because we were only the second guests to ever stay here! Everything is brand new, fresh and beautifully set up. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. The suite is absolutely STUNNING, with a breathtaking view that left us speechless. It was such a magical experience — one we’ll never forget. We’ll definitely be back! A huge thank you to the whole team, especially to Mr. Wayan, who looked after us as if we were his own children. We felt truly cared for, and it made all the difference.

We had the most amazing time here—it truly exceeded all our expectations! From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed by the best hosts we’ve ever encountered. They were not only kind and attentive but also provided us with the most insightful local guide, helping us discover the hidden beauty of the area in a way we never could have on our own. The bamboo house was beyond stunning—spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and full of charm. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and the attention to detail was outstanding. We felt relaxed and at peace the moment we arrived. And the view? Absolutely breathtaking. Every morning, we woke up feeling like we were in a dream, surrounded by nature and beauty in every direction. We loved how open the space felt, with nature all around us—yet at night, we could close the soft curtains that wrap around the house, creating a cozy and private cocoon while still hearing the peaceful sounds of the outdoors. It was the perfect blend of comfort and immersion in nature. We were truly blown away by the entire experience. A stunningly beautiful location right in the middle of rice fields and view to Mount Agung. The location is very picturesque. Beautiful sunset and sunrise view. The property is also very nice and cozy with great food menu. Beautiful accommodation with a pool and a view of the rice fields and nearby temples. I booked to climb a nearby volcano, but unfortunately it didn't work out due to the weather. Even so, the accommodation was great and thanks to the scooter they lent me at the accommodation, I was able to travel around the area. The accommodation is open, so expect some visitors from nature :-)

The accommodation is about two months old and has a cozy, family atmosphere! Our hut was equipped with air conditioning, mosquito spray, a flashlight and enough power outlets next to the beds. It is very clean and comfortable. There is a small restaurant on site where the meals are freshly cooked. It is delicious and very cheap. You pay once you check out. Breakfast is served until about 12 noon. Nyoman, the owner, got us a scooter. Unfortunately, we had a scooter accident near the accommodation but Nyoman and the staff looked after us like family for a week! We were incredibly lucky that the scooter accident happened there and not somewhere else in Bali, as we never felt alone. We were supported in everything and are infinitely grateful for everything! They will always be a part of our special Bali trip.
