Surrounded by nature, it’s the perfect place to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with what really matters. We even started our 2 AM hike to Mount Batur from here, and coming back to the stillness of the resort and the smiles of the staff was just what we needed. If you’re looking for a place with soul—honest, intimate, and full of Balinese charm—this is it. We’d come back a thousand times over. Huge thanks to all the legends we met at Rumah Kayu. The property location,not far from city centre. Very quite and clean. The service is exceptional 👌🏼. The staff is very helpful and attentive. The rooms are super big and clean, they get cleaned twice a day and make sure that you have enough drinking water. They suprised with a small cake ,sang for me and decorated my bed on my birthday,that was amazing. The complimentary shuttle service to city centre was very much appreciated

I could not recommend this hotel enough! From the moment we arrived and throughout the whole of our stay, the staff could not do enough for us. We stayed in the Suite with the pool view, it was absolutely breathtaking, spotlessly clean and huge. Every single thing had been thought about in terms of needs and also decorated beautifully with flowers and fruit baskets. The food was exceptional, we didn’t have one bad meal. Massive portions and fantastic prices. Kipli was fantastic and all the team in the restaurant. The pool was beautiful and well looked after, as well as the spa which again was phenomenal, we used it almost everyday and got spoilt by the lovely Desna and Tria. We can’t wait to stay again, thank you everyone at Kuwarasan.

    This villa is located in a serene area surrounded with paddy terrace. The road is accessible via car and there’s parking lot beside the villa. Everything I need during my stay was available. Wayan and Desi always helpful and ready to assist anytime. Breakfast choice was great, and the pool too! Had a great stay to relax and unwind, and totally recommended this villa!

    Very nice hotel in the very center. Maybe not the most luxurious, but very cozy! The very friendly staff allowed us to leave our car in the hotel parking lot for free to walk around the Streets of Ubud for a couple of hours. They allowed the children to stay by the pool for a few hours after check out. It was very nice to have such a friendly attitude!
