Parking is generous and there is an unloading area by the front door. Reception was efficiently friendly. The large room, which looked out onto woodland from both windows, was beautifully quiet and restful. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and the water hot. The restaurant staff were lovely, one young girl in particular couldn't do enough for you so good at her job. One guy just cleaned the bar area all the time and ran around but little to no engagement with customers. Booked this last-minute using the app when the rain set in on our road trip around Tipperary, and were delighted with what we found. An old fashioned hotel, warm and welcoming with a wonderfully hot bath. We had a corner room boasting close up views of the forest on one side and mountains on the other.
