This recently established property offers a refreshing ambiance. Despite being a budget accommodation, the facilities are satisfactory. They offer chilled, hot, and regular potable water, but breakfast is not provided. The bed features a standard foam mattress, and there's no option for a spring mattress. The bathroom is clean and stylish, equipped with hot water. Nearby shops cater to last-minute needs. While the location isn't central, it falls within the coverage of food delivery services. We faced occasional power outages, rendering the AC ineffective, but fans and lights functioned on inverters, allowing us to cope. Overall, it was a positive experience.

The WiFi was as good as the best anywhere in India - absolutely brilliant and so useful for me. The food was very good and the location is superb barely 400 metres from the Ticket Office to the Bird Sanctuary. The staff help to contact guides and transport to get to hides and other areas for Birding and generally Basil will help with anything you need. Absolutely brilliant place to stay for Birders.

What a hidden gem Hornbill Camp is. Nestled in lush jungle on the edge of the river and Thattekad Bird Sanctuary this is truly the place to relax and experience incredible nature and wildlife at your doorstep. Suresh and his staff were exceptional, and the camp naturalist incredibly knowledgeable. It is rare to meet someone as passionate and engaging as Suresh, hqvubg him as our host was a true highlight. We really enjoyed the camps many activities- kayaking, mountain biking and bird watching. The food was excellent, can recommend you take meals here. The glamping tents were very comfortable with nice beds, AC, fan and ensuite toilet. We loved our private porch looking over the river. Cannot recommend enough, this is a very special place.

Had visited multiple homestay at cochin locality... But this is amazing and fantasy.. I can say starting frm Welcome to last check-out... Awesome moments... Hassle free to stay and njoy like our own house.. I would suggest all my frnds nd family.. iam dame sure I won't go for other options... Excellent stay! We were the only guests due to the bad climate. The entire house was ours providing privacy and a cozy, big room. The river view was amazing, though the bad weather limited outdoor enjoyment. The homely food from the ladies' kitchen was yummy and added to the comfort. A kettle with coffee/tea sachets was a nice touch, making our stay more pleasant. Despite the rain, it seemed like the place had a lot to offer! We will be back after the rains to enjoy the river.
