Awesome hospitality , location,food. The owner was an excellent person and personally loooked after us. Even took us in his own. Car , for local sightseeing. Would certainly stay here again if I get a chance. Would highly recommend this place. They even had a fully equipped kitchen!

I have been throughout NE but this has been one of the greatest experience. Dorjee and family are super awesome at hosting folks, and making sure the stay experience is memorable. Dorjee is a college going, fun loving guy who will make sure you have what you need while staying. He made us visit nearby villages and sat late nights singing and sharing fun mountain stories. This place is also a great place for pet buddies as this property is well barricaded, making sure your pets are free to roam around lawn and take sun baths pr play.

When Nature Meets Excellence – And You Meet Comfort During my Arunachal adventure, I needed a pit stop between Guwahati and Tawang. My options? Bomdilla or Shergaon. I picked Shergaon because, well, peace is priceless. And speaking of priceless (but totally affordable), Zen Resort Shergaon was my top choice—and boy, did it deliver! Tucked away in Lungkhar Village, right off NH-13 (strategically placed opposite an Indian Oil petrol pump, because even your car deserves a break), this place is a hidden gem. The owner clearly has a PhD in hospitality, and the staff? Let’s just say they’d win gold in the “Make-You-Feel-At-Home” championship. The food was nothing short of excellent—so good that I briefly considered extending my stay just for another meal. They welcomed us with warmth and bid us farewell like royalty, which made leaving that much harder. The rooms? Spacious, comfy, and packed with all the amenities you’d need. But the real showstopper? The morning walk down to the river. If tranquility had a home, this would be its backyard. It was so peaceful, even my city-stressed soul felt rejuvenated. Long story short: If you’re passing through Shergaon, Zen Resort isn’t just an option—it’s THE option.

We had a lovely stay at Kharjap homestay in April 24. The hosts were extremely welcoming and gracious, and we really enjoyed meeting the whole family and getting to know more about the place, it's culture and the efforts to preserve the local traditions. Tashi and Lumu looked after us really well, with simple but amazing home cooked food, and we felt like we were staying at home away from home. The local village has a wonderful 17th century fort that is very interesting to explore and learn about - do ask the hosts for a guided walk around it if you do visit. There are also wonderful views of the mountains around the area, however we were unlucky with the cloud cover and could only get a small glimpse during our stay.
