Bit far to walk to the central bus stand but restaurants down the end of the block and autos to hail down there too. Backs on to a relatively nice residential area so feels safe. Very clean quarters and quiet at night.

My family, friends, and I stayed at the Marriot recently. We really loved our stay. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and all the staff were friendly. The AC worked very well. The pool was beautiful and I really enjoyed the restaurant.

The unit was very clean, neat and complete with all facilities including kitchen utensils and fridge Each room had a double bed with a retractable mattress which is possible for another 2 people to sleep. Great room, quite superior to anything else that has comparable price in terms of spaciousness and comfort. It had international sockets so I could charge all my devices at once without adapters. It also had a real western-style shower, which is not common in the area. The staff was amazing and helped me a lot when I had to charge my phone after check-out due to unforeseen issues with my travel plans, they also held luggage for me and let me stay in the lobby while waiting for a sleeper bus from the nearby stands. I also had dinner at the cafe, which had reasonable prices and tasted good (very spicy though, at least the soup I got).

Truly the BEST hotel in Trichy. Affordable price. Strategic location between airport and city centre. Friendly staff(front desk, butler, waiter, and etc. All staffs were able to converse well in tamil and engliah. Room is very clean and spacious. Airport shuttle available. Has swimming pool too. And there is leisure park just like 1 min distance in front of the hotel. And the BEST of the BEST is the in- house restaurant, The Buffet Square. We were served by Mr Sivakumar. First class service from the staff, wonderful ambience in terms of background music and the interior decoration, and heavenly taste dishes. I've tried their masala dhosa, butter paneer, chicken 65, chapati, and carrot halwa which is truly a marveleous cuisine prepared by world class chef. SRM TRICHY HOTEL, defintely will be HotSpot hangout place for me whenever I drop by Trichy in future.
