The Freezer Hostel is probably one of the coolest places I’ve stayed at in Iceland! It’s beautifully decorated with a lot of art and characters, even the rooms are covered in art! The rooms were nice, beds comfy and the kitchen was pretty well equipped- you’ll find everything you need. The staff is super friendly, happy to tell you all the fun stories about the places or help you plan your day.

Comfortable room, excellent breakfast and exceptionally helpful personnel. Special mention to receptionist Anna who made us fish and chips for dinner and gave us many recommendations to explore the Snæfellsnes Penisula. She even helped us to find the northern lights at night!

It is very clean and quiet, perfect for a good rest. There is a nice kitchen with free coffee in the morning. The staff were very friendly an helpful, they provided good informations about the area, weather, road conditions and help you plan the trip.

Very clean, comfortable, and well-located accommodation. Check-in was easy and everything went smoothly. The kitchen was well equipped, with everything we needed for a larger group.
