We were taken back by the pristine cleanliness of the place, how well equipped the kitchen were. Spotless toilets, very cozy home and environment, comfortable beds/pillows/mattresses, sofa bed that opens up to a proper mattress all make this place a very comforting rest for the night. There's a 15 minutes gravel road to drive there which was wide, pothole-free, and no traffic in any direction making it very easy and quick drive to the place. It is in a middle of a wide open plain field which means perfect location free of light pollution. I can't find a thing to be at fault with the place. Internet speed wasn't the fastest but more than adequate for YouTube and browsing the web. No complains though.

My wife and I stayed for one night at this charming cabin in Iceland and had a fantastic experience. The cabin was cozy and cute, with a well-equipped kitchenette and bathroom that made our stay very comfortable. The staff from the nearby hotel was incredibly attentive and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. Such a lovely experience! The view of the lake was gorgeous, and the room was very spacious (and we were a group of 3). Staff is friendly and there's a good breakfast service as well. Would definitely recommend and come back!

Most adorable little cabin. Very comfy and cozy. Wish we could have stayed here a bit longer. Perfect place to disconnect. Hot tub was great. A little out of the way but that's what you want when you try to disconnect. The host was super accommodating!!! 10 stars just for the host alone

It is the perfect tiny cottage for solo travelers, couples or for small family of 3 who likes nature and to get away from all the chaos from the city. Cottage included everything even a little dish washer and a conventional oven. Loved how small but it had everything you need. Also it was very easy to get there and check in even in the winter and after getting dark outside. They even plowed the snow out right upto the door step early in the morning so we could easily drive in thick snow. The host was really sweet to leave us some chocolate wafers which I loved and now I am taking a whole bunch back home for sure. :) The best part is we were extremely lucky to see Aurora/ Northern Lights show on our first night itself in the cottage.

    Staff were very hospitable. Free onsite parking. Kettle with tea and coffee in bungalow. Common lounge and dining area looked stylishly modern and inviting but we didn't get to use them. Just around the corner from the spectacular Fjadrargljufur canyon!

    Everyone was very friendly and the hostel was very clean. A plus was the very comfortable beds. I had never stayed in a hostel before. I was a little apprehensive about the shared bathrooms but there was never a problem with availability. The area was beautiful with a pond right off the parking lot. Well located.

    Excellent breakfast, lots of choice and chocolate digestives of all things. Room is clean and tidy, heated bathroom floors. Bathroom lighting could be better. Good scenic location, excellent restaurant food. Plenty of free parking.
