United StatesWe were a bit worried with so few reviews, but this place is brand new, sleek, immaculate, extremely comfortable and the shared bathrooms are downright luxurious. It is very near the entrance to Studolagil Canyon, and met our needs to get a bit beyond Egilsstadir as we were driving east on the Ring Road. A wonderful last minute find!

New ZealandThe location is great to view the Studlagil Canyon in the evening and/or 1st thing in the morning. The room is tiny, but it has everything you need. There is a food truck within 100metres where you can grab dinner (open till 6pm) when we visited, or coffee and breakfast. Great location for a quiet night and a dark sky to see the Northern Lights.

The hotel is on the main road. Small property with also hostel type facilities with shared bathrooms and dorms. We stayed in a room with private bathroom, it was basic but super clean and tidy.
