Description of place is accurate. The room was large and clean and with exception of a couple of lights everything worked. Breakfast was at a cafe in the town which was OK but was not told of the cafe’s location till the very last minute. Value for money was excellent.

We arrived after dark a little nervous about the road getting there but the whole trip was quite an adventure.We were warmly greeted by the charming Nicky and her lovely husband Roberto.who could not have been more helpful. We will certainly be back to stay a little longer next time and discover more of this amazing area.

The breakfast was incredible! The host, Allessandro, cooked a traditional Sicilian breakfast to his personal traditional family recipe. Amazingly unique and full of flavour - the best start to our day! Moreover, Allesandro picked us up from the bus station and took us with our luggage to the accommodation - an unexpected and very welcome gesture indeed when we called to say we had arrived early!

“Pepito” was the ultimate host - friendly , attentive, courteous and a fantastic breakfast provider. I speak no Italian, he spoke no English but we managed a conversation about Orchids, reservoirs and Sicilian water! Bellisimo!!
