It is central to Alzano Lombardo, which has a range of clothes shops, bars, a few restaurants, and a Basilica with a remarkable interior. A 5 to 7 minute walk from the tram to Bergamo (approx total journey time 20-25 minutes), but note the tram services (and buses) do not run beyond early evening.
