There is a ferry stop right opposite the hotel which can take you over to other villages around Lake Como. For people who want to stay away from the crowds, this is perfect. The proprietor was courteous and answered all our questions. There is great view from the terrace. Just keep in mind that you will also see the parking lot of the adjacent building and the garbage cans on the street- that wasn't a problem at all. Overall we recommend the house.
