The location was good as just by crossing a busy road you were at the shores of Lake Maggiore, with plenty of opportunities to eat and drink (BUT take insect repellent spray!). The breakfast was basic, with no hot drinks machine, but the staff made a great coffee and were happy to make a second cup. The hotel has a restaurant, but we never ate there. Free parking available and 15min walking to Baveno city (no sidewalk so is not the most pedestrian friendly).
