I cannot overestimate how kind our hosts were. They came and picked us up from a nearby station and took us there at the end of our visit. They also phoned ahead to make sure that the place of interest we wanted to visit was open and a guide was there for us. And they arranged a dinner for us at a local restaurant and took us there and arranged for the restaurant owner to bring us back. They could not have been kinder and our visit was a huge success. We've had one of our best holidays at Tenuta Colfiorito. Located on a hill, conveniently very close to the highway exit, but very quiet, it is a beautiful property. The garden & trees are charming, the apartment was as pictured, clean, spacious, with everything you need for a self catered stay. The bed was very comfortable, the AC worked well, the kitchen was equipped with new accessories. You also get a lovely welcome basket (water, juice, milk, various pastries, coffee capsules etc.) + a nice little gift from the orchard :). Everyone was very, very nice, thank you to Alessandra for the warm welcoming and to Sandu for all the tips regarding what to visit nearby, where to eat, parking etc. It is a small gem in the Lazio area, we will definitely be back!

Even if it is quite difficult to find because there is none street number, and it is located far outside the village, the place is worth the travel and the money. It is absolutely quiet, and the view is breathtaking thanks to its elevated point of view on all the valley for several tens kilometers. The room is big with a bigger terrace with the same point of view. Franscesca was nice.
