It’s comfort, beautiful design, home feeling with very sweet hosts and its location which is peaceful and silent in the middle of the countryside inside a tiny village. Room was very spacious and with high comfort level; all details are thought of. Very much felt at home.

We had an amazing time in Montalbera; we spent 5 nights there and it’s the perfect location to visit Monferrato. Montalbera has a magnificent view of Montemagno and the surrounding hills and vineyards, which are stunning (you can also walk through the estate thanks to 4 different routes)! We definitely recommend a visit to their wine cellar and a wine tasting. We found that the experts working there were very prepared and knowledgeable (and just really nice and friendly in general), and their wines are produced with care, attention to the territory and innovation (the Ruchè Riserva was our clear favorite). If you stay, we also recommend a bike tour (you can rent e-bikes in Montalbera), which is the best way to see and enjoy the Monferrato’s hills which are stunning and all a bit diverse! Last, but not least, the staff at the check-in will provide your with a useful list of restaurants. Ciao and grazie Montalbera, we hope we’ll come back soon!

Casapaletti is a pleasant, inviting and inspiring place to be, to enjoy, to relax and to stay longer. Our stay lasted six days and it was still too short for Casapaletti. Our faboulous host Andrea is an outstanding cook and showed us every day how to celebrate, to discuss and enjoy the art of cooking and preparing the food and beverages of Monferrato combined with some greetings from Tuscany. Every single course was prepared with heart and soul, with experience and excellence, with tradition and surprise. We felt like being at home at Caterina's and Andrea's. Cascina Desderi is a beautiful traditional Italian house set in its own vineyards. We were welcomed by the delightful Francesco who looked after us throughout our stay. He provides an excellent and personal service to all the guests, is very informative. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast served overlooking the pool and the vineyards beyond and the outstandingly good tasting menu served in the evening with complementary wines produced by the establishment itself. Although in the middle of countryside the hotel is a short drive from Asti and Torino can be reached in half an hour by train from Asti station.

The owner has created Paolo’s ‘mondo’ in a sleepy village in the Monferrato regio with it’s beautyful hills. Paolo and his team make you feel very welcome. In the evenings a very tasteful menu with delicious self made wines is served! All good! We made a nice hike and made a medium sportive biketour with beautiful views on our own bikes!
