Antonio and Renata are AMAZING!!! You feel like you are really expected and very special guest from the beginning of your stay. Antonio met me outside, guided me in, and Renata showed me everything inside. Room was very homelike and cozy, bathroom had everything I needed. Breakfast was very good, especially that little fruit salad they made for me with such care and love, I can’t! If I ever will come back to Varenna, I’m definitely staying at Il Bolentino BB with amazing hosts - Renata and Antonio. Thank you!

- Appartment was big enough for me and my wife, 4-month old kid and the cat :) the bed was comfortable, kitchen sufficiently big and with all we needed, the balcony and view were AMAZING and the best place to have a nice sunny breakfast - everything was spotless clean with fresh linnen - Location cannot be better. 10min to the harbour and promenade/restaurants. Even though there was a train station in front of the house, it never really bothered us because the windows were really good isolated - It is definitely a plus to have a parking available for a really good fee, otherwise it is very difficult to find a cheap place to park and close-by - Oscar, the host was very helpful and assisted when we had questions. The key handover was perfectly timed

We had the most wonderful time in Varennahouse. It was so clean, comfortable, and central. A short 10 minute scenic walk to the train station and right in the centre of Varenna town. Vittorio was so helpful with direction to get to the property and for checking in and out. We were really delighted with the accommodation and the beautiful view of the lake from our living room. Thank you so much for having us, we would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the Lake Como district.

    The location in Varenna was perfect right on the lake. We were in the annex building which initially I was concerned about but all that melted away when we saw our room and its wonderful roof terrace. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Met by a wonderful warm lady. Secure parking if you are driving. Near the ferry for getting about. Lovely restaurant Locanda nearby. We will be back to stay in room 102 again. ❤️🇮🇹

    Friendly approachable staff, room was keeping within the Italian theme and excellent value for money. The fact secure parking at the hotel was priceless. When we return to Varenna we will definitely stay again. Our room was in the attic but next time I will look to book a lower floor with balcony

    The location is great. It's close to Vernazza and very quiet at night. There is a great view from the patio. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed is comfortable. I liked the convenience of the nespresso machine for a quick espresso. They gave good directions and were easy to communicate with. The room was clean and the climate controls were easy to use. The parking lot was conveniently close to the gate. The area seems very safe and friendly.

    The village, the location and the hotel itself are all top notch. But the hospitality and warmth of the stuff is above and beyond! Thank you, Martina! You'd feel at home right away. Like a place you've been returning to for many years (it was my first visit). The room was very large, clean and fully equipped. The view from the Balcony – exceptional. Free parking for guests – right behind the hotel. Breakfast was just I needed. Not a huge choice but more than enough.
