Humongous traditional room, amazing breakfast, very nice shared onsen. The outdoor onsen is a little small and doesnt have much view but it’s still nice that there is an option.

I stayed as a mid-way point through Nakasendo. I have nothing but praise for this hotel. They picked me up at the station due to extremely heavy rain without me giving them prior notice which was appreciated. I would’ve frozen otherwise… 😂 The room is beautifully traditional but the highlight is definitely the outdoor spa sauna complex. Amazing!

Amazing surroundings and mountain view, piece and quiet vibe. The room is traditional Japanese with tatamis and we haven’t slept so well anywhere else in our Japan travel. The bath was clean and we were the only people there so each of us had a small private onsen :) The breakfast was great, with miso soup and rice.
