Beautiful setting, very kind hosts, comfortable. Meals were great and plenty. Three nights was a great idea, you get to relax and enjoy Japan at a different pace. Lots of walk in the countryside. We were very happy with our choice, off the beaten path, but very easy to get to.

Pretty nice traditional location, with all the amenities needed plus a very nice lobby area with fireplace. After spending days between Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto it was a very refreshing stay to visit Kayabuki No Sato, experiencing a Kaiseki dinner plus tradional Japanese breakfast.

The family is very friendly and cute. The house is just awesome and I strongly suggest to take the diner and breakfast because the food is simply delicious. I could even tried a real kendo outfit and met one of the daughter from Okinawa with her lovely newborn. We had great chat and we tried dishes I didn't existed. They're also very generous. We had to leave very early in the morning, so they got up to make us small bento box for the road. I strongly recommend.
