The women in the reception was very helpful and assisted us with restaurant recommendations and the nakasendo trail that we plan to do the next day. The breakfast was OK plus. I selected the cheapest room but the window faced towards the river, which I consider a plus. Food was good, just a tad under Ryokan quality and flavour, but plentiful.
