Everyone there was wonderful, willing to help even with the language barrier. The dinner and breakfast were delicious (if you stay more than one night, note that you'll eat the same dinner and breakfast) The room and all the temple was super clean and calm. It was a great place to stay! I really love the ceremonies that I could witness, meditation in the evening, morning ceremony and goma ceremony (fire ceremony). The one thing I was surprised by is that the showers are "Onsen Showers" so it's in a commun room, with little stools where you can clean yourself before entering the bath. Not a negative point, just something I wasn't expecting. Thanks to all the staff there for a wonderful stay!

It a beautiful temple, it is very well kept. The room was very spacious and comfortable, all in tatami floor, tastefully decorated, very clean and well maintained, with aircon available and even a TV. I loved that there was a complimentary tea, a yukata and a toothbrush. The temple has a bath (onsen) available and a morning prayer ceremony.

it was our first traditional stay in japan and we were very much pleased. monks are super welcoming. we enjoy getting dress with the yukaya and eat the dinner and breakfast (my favorite was the breakfast tofu with soy sauce) we attended the morning ritual and felt very relax after when booking I thought there we not a lot of shop or restaurant but they are some! we saw our first cherry blossom during this stay I really enjoy the onsen. also my bf is 6.2 foot and they accommodate him with a yukata his size. very appropriate it.

The host Paula is a wonderful woman who is friendly and helpful all the ways. The vibe of the hut is so peaceful and a perfect match of that of Koyashan. I have previously tried temple stay before. To me, it was even better to stay in Koyasan Space.

The plant-based dinner & breakfast were so delicious and beautifully presented. The room is well-maintained and clean. The wall decorations in the room I had was super gorgeous. Also, the garden view from my room was idyllically wonderful; it felt like time stood still. Combined with the great history of the place, It made such a heartfelt stay.

We absolutely loved our stay here The dinner/breakfast served is amazing, a lot of options even for non-vegetarians The place felt very clean and well taken care of. We felt welcome even though it feels like a place mainly for tourists, we would still definitely recommend the experience even for one night to see the morning ceremony The room is amazing, very spacious and with great views to the garden and temple, offers a lot of amenities, welcome tea and snack, yakata, toothrbrush, hair comb etc.

Peaceful. Beautiful temple. Good vibe. Very clean. We had a traditional room, it was nice and spacious. We had to share bath toilet and so on.... but no problem, all very clean and nice. Not a big deal for 1 night. Diner and breakfast included: Traditional Japanees (offcourse). Parking in front of temple.

It was a very authentic stay and beautiful place. The staff were very polite and helpful. The food was plentiful, unique and very tasty. There was parking provided to the side of the accommodation and slippers and umbrellas were kindly provided. The temple was opposite the famous Konpon Daito and most places were in walking distance.

it was very cozy. we didn’t get to interact much with the staff but they were very nice. we parked to get our stuff down and didn’t move right away and got in the way of an angry neighbour and the owners (i think) came to let us know very kindly to move to the free parking lot nearby. in the family room with private bathroom there was hot/cold water dispenser and a bottle of green tea for everyone every night of the stay.
