Very elegant Japanese style house. I had it to myself as no one else was staying. The breakfast was the most delicious wholefood bento from a local cafe. The bed was really comfortable. Very nice and quiet. It's kind of a nice combination of a luxurious atmosphere, excellent decor but with aspects of a budget hostel feel. (No private bathroom only showers). It would be nice in summer as there is a big tatami room with a view of the garden. This was the guest house annexe not the main loop hotel.

The lodge was absolutely beautiful. It has everything a family would need. The washer and dryer were a huge help for our long trip. The kitchen was fully equipped. My children enjoyed home cooked meals after having eating out since we started the trip. The stone bath tub is a plus too.

Yuko san was incredible, very generous, kind and thoughtful. The property is well maintained, clean and comfortable. You have your own bathroom, sitting room and futon space so it is private as you need. The food Yuko makes mostly from her garden was delicious!

I really liked the outdoor onsen and the fact that you can use them anytime. The staff was also really nice and tried their best with speaking English. I also really liked the room, even had a balcony! The location is perfect to explore the national park, I would stay here again any time. P.S. the info about wifi is incorrect, they do have it.
