    Very friendly welcome, allocated parking by the station. Spacious big room and very clean. The shared showers and toilets were very clean. The food was good and we enjoyed a lovely meal and beer.

    Great breakfast and dinner included in price. Onsen was excellent and room was spacious and quiet. Excellent friendly staff and house keeping. Location was fantastic for the fall season and free parking on site was appreciated.

    Location is good, few minutes walk from the vine bridge. Free parking in front of the ryokan. The room for 3 people is large and it has a seating area, TV, fridge. The lady who run the place is very friendly and tries to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The traditional food for breakfast and dinner was very good.

    Everything. Staff were friendly and attentive including valet parking service. Hotel was a lovely building in a beautiful setting. Rooms were clean and spacious, staff will make your beds up whilst at dinner. Dinner and breakfast were both outstanding, a delicious selection of traditional and locally sourced japanese cuisine in a very aesthetic room. We only used the outdoor onsen which you take the funicular to. It was clean with beautiful views and not busy during our visit.

    Great onsen facilities which weren't too busy. Tasty, large buffet breakfast. Stayed in Japanese style tatami room and beds were pre-made, had a small backroom as well with seating area. Fridge and kettle in room. Free parking in front.

    Great location, in a beautiful river valley. We had a car, so it was easy to drive to points of interest (vine bridges, mountain walks, mountain lookouts) and parking was available at hotel. Onsen was lovely - indoor and small outdoor onsen, gender separated. Facilities were clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Evening meals were set menu, multi-course and really interesting/tasty.

    The staff at 4S Stay were very accommodating. Because my partner and I arrived late, they communicated with us ahead of time and insured that we had information for entering the property and parking without needing to stop by their main hotel for check-in. The amenities were fantastic, and the whole place was spotless.
