1. From pre-arrival to departure, personalised service was extended all the time. I appreciated the hotel response to my inquiries prior to our arrival. Swift responses with details at any time. 2. Breakfast was exceptional with local produce. Breakfast set menu was changed daily so we truly enjoyed varieties of dishes and tastes. 3. Establishment itself was historical especially that location.

This hotel is a little out of the way, but really worth it for the view. It's relaxing to see Nagasaki from above at different times of day. The staff were so friendly and always smiling and greeting guests, even giving us big waves as the station shuttle departed. I recommend taking advantage of the shuttle bus because while the city bus gets near the hotel, it's a steep mountain and the remaining walk is quite intense. The included breakfast was high quality.

Loved the location, the room, the gym and the staff. It is an unusual hotel by Japanese standards, a converted convent beautifully converted. The staff went an extra mile to help us. Very convenient for the Glover gardens.

The experience of the stay is superb! You can actually live like the local Nagasaki people (on the hill) and listen to the sound from the vessel or the Mitsubishi ship yard. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The house is exactly what we’re looking for. Highly recommended for people who want to experience the area.
